The location was great and the staff were lovely. Food at the restaurant was very nice and the breakfast facilities in the room were good. The only issue was the absence of a hairdryer, so I had to go out and buy one. We were heading to a wedding the next day, and while I understand that not everyone is careful with electrical appliances, having a hairdryer available for rent would be a useful option for guests who don’t bring their own.

It’s convenient if you’re going to a wedding or event at Clearwell Castle because it’s just a short walk away. The TV channels weren’t working, which isn’t a huge deal but it would be nice to have the TV functional.

Fantastic establishment located in a lovely village. We had a fantastic lunch as well as a great stay. The staff were really helpful and we would not hesitate to return

The bar was close to the room, and the fridge in the room was handy; the staff were polite and accommodating, the rooms were clean, and the historic building was lovely. The room lacked a mirror for getting ready, and only a continental breakfast was offered – a muffin, cereal bar, granola, and yogurt – a bit basic but better than nothing.
