The location was strategic, the accessories and services were top‑level, and the manager’s availability and kindness made us feel pampered and gave us the best advice for planning our stay.

We had a wonderful stay and would definitely give it 10/10! The location is perfect—right on the edge of Matera’s historic centre, so you’re already in the old town and can walk everywhere without dragging luggage over long cobbled streets. Free parking was a huge bonus; the host kindly reserved a free spot for us, which made everything so much easier, especially when travelling by car. The room was very spacious, modern, spotlessly clean, and well equipped. We also had a beautiful view over the old town. The shower was great with plenty of hot water, and everything in the room felt new and very well maintained. Most importantly, the host was incredibly warm, friendly and helpful. He gave us a great introduction to Matera and explained the old town and places to visit when we arrived, which we really appreciated. A fantastic place to stay in Matera—highly recommended!
