I’m glad I chose Wish maamigili Hotel; the décor is exquisite and clean, plenty of hot water for a good night’s sleep, and breakfast offers both European and Maldivian options. The owner is attentive, taking us out to sea each day based on our booked activities. The sea here is stunning, we saw manta rays, dolphins, turtles, and many beautiful fish, but luck was a little off and we missed the whale shark. Highly recommend this beautiful little island!

A family‑run place that went above and beyond for us, arranging all our transport, activities and pointing us to a fantastic local restaurant for dinner. I’d gladly return if we’re back in the Maldives.

The hotel is almost brand new, the rooms are very comfortable with air‑conditioning. The family who welcomed us was genuinely friendly, attentive, always ready to give us information and help with arrangements. We had great conversations with them to better understand local life, which was very interesting. We booked a private excursion on a small boat for $50 per person for two hours of snorkeling that was incredible – we saw dolphins, turtles, sharks and thousands of fish. Then we did a manta ray outing on another private boat for $100 per person; we spotted six, one up close, which was magnificent. We recommend this Guest House 100 % and truly hope to return someday.
