A room with air conditioning was a relief, especially since it was 30+ every day; the bathroom and other facilities were excellent, and the beach was just a 10‑minute walk away.

“Comfort, Peace, Convenience, Great Location & Easy Beach Access”

I stayed at a tiny guesthouse in Parede that has only eight rooms, and the shared kitchen was a highlight—spotlessly clean, fully equipped, and perfect for making breakfast or a light dinner, which made it very convenient. The pool was another plus: clean, pleasant, and ideal for cooling off after a hot day exploring Lisbon or Cascais. The hosts were friendly, helpful, and always ready to offer advice or assistance, so overall it was a very pleasant and relaxing place to stay. On the downside, the doors in the shared spaces were noisy when closing, partly because of gaps and the absence of sound‑dampening seals; this was especially disruptive when people passed through the bathroom and shower doors in the morning or late evening. A simple rubber or acoustic strip around the doors would help. Also, the kitchen lacked clear rules in multiple languages, so it was sometimes unclear which storage shelves and fridge space belonged to each room, and guests occasionally left dirty dishes in the sink.

The room was clean and roomy, and the facilities matched the description; the only issue was the stairs, which were especially slippery when wet.

Un endroit super sympa et très agréable. La piscine et en plus les chambres sont très bien pour des petits ou long séjour. Tout était parfait.

“Short but very comfortable. Unfortunately did not have the opportunity to use the oool which looked very nice.”

The place was very clean, but the lighting in the room was too white; a yellowish hue would have been more comfortable for the eyes.
