We enjoyed a comfortable stay at this chalet, fully equipped and ideal for a relaxing holiday. The private sauna was a real highlight after a day of hiking, and the value for money was solid. The scenery is gorgeous, with several great hiking trails starting just outside the chalet, and the slogan “Flattnitz - Kraft der Ruhe/ The Power of tranquility” truly rings true. If you’re after nature, peace, and quiet, this place is perfect. A few minor issues: electricity is billed separately at the end of your stay, which felt a bit inconvenient; a higher rental price that included electricity would have been preferable. Guests are told to turn the boiler down before leaving, but we missed that notice and arrived with very little hot water. A clearer reminder before check‑in or a more visible instruction would have avoided that. Also, if you’re looking for lively villages with many restaurants, shops, or nightlife, this isn’t the spot; the nearest large supermarket is about a 45‑minute drive away, though a small self‑service shop in the village offers a surprisingly good selection of tasty local products. All in all, we definitely recommend this chalet as a fantastic base for exploring the area and enjoying a peaceful mountain holiday.
