“A great country oasis. 👍”
The place feels like a country oasis, and the room is a decent size with a large bathroom. The shower is hot and the AC is cold. The owners, a very nice couple, are attentive and make sure you’re enjoying your stay. A fair warning: Mr Belong plays chess far better than he tells you—he beat me twice, very easily, lol. The homemade breakfast was really good. The location is rural between Yogyakarta and the beach, but Grab works fast if you need a taxi. The neighborhood is quiet, and you’ll wake up to birds chirping. Wi‑Fi on my laptop worked really well; I could watch YouTube in 4K without buffering. I got lost a few times, but most people didn’t speak English and it didn’t matter; everyone smiles and waves. They all knew “Opak Village” and pointed me in the right direction. The peace and tranquility there made me extend my stay a couple of days. They get 2 thumbs up from me. 👍 👍 Mr Belong used to do tours, so he can tell you all the places to go, the best way to get there, etc.
The environment is really good, the room is comfy and clean, and the owner is nice and friendly 👍👍.
“Un po di calma a Yojia”
The hospitality of the hosts, the lady’s breakfast, and the tranquility far from the city’s chaos.
“It was a very pleasant stay, with a price that didn't bust the budget.”
The breakfast was delicious and complete. The rooms were clean and everything worked.AC, TV, hot water, etc. The beds were comfortable and the atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The owner and staff are friendly and very helpful! The value for the money is exceptional!
The host is great, and the area has kids playing, so our son could ride a bike, which he really missed (borrowed it from the neighbors). Outside the city, it’s nice and quiet, a completely different experience than Yogya, which is just 15 minutes away. And the pancake 🥞 😘. Nothing really.
