The owner’s cooking was amazing—delicious—and the owner was kind and attentive. The room offered great value, being spacious and clean. If you’re afraid of small bugs or lizards, you might want to reconsider.

Everything was fantastic! The hosts were very friendly and took care of everything. The location was perfect for both major rocks and the safari, which the hosts also offered.

Very good location near the rocks. The hosts were super welcoming, and you could eat on site. They also offer safaris in their personal jeep.

The hosts were very welcoming and made everything super easy. They organized all activities at a great price. The food was the best we had on the whole trip; highly recommend the chicken kottu and coconut rottis.

“Logement à fuir sauf si vous aimez les scorpions!”

The accommodation gives a direct view of Pidurangala mountain and is a few minutes’ walk away. The room is large and clean. Breakfast and dinner are paid and pricier than the local market average, but they’re available, which is handy for early or late arrivals. The stay ended bitterly when I found a scorpion in my bathroom on the day of departure; after speaking to the owner, he showed no surprise, no apology, no effort to remove it, and offered no alternative bathroom. I don’t recommend this place unless steps are taken to prevent such incidents. If I hadn’t closed the bathroom door at night, the scorpion would have ended up in my bed. Also, there’s no water bottle or kettle in the rooms. The property is hard to reach at night because one of the two roads is impassable, and there’s a risk of encountering snakes or elephants, making walking impossible.
