The location is exceptional and the place is very pleasant. There’s a nice shop nearby where you can eat the groceries you buy outside (a cozy shed). The lake is beautiful, the boats are great, the water is clean—everyone can find something they like. In the evenings you might run into mosquitoes; the owner can’t control that—it’s just a feature of the area, not a limitation. Bring some insect repellent.

“Repos, calme et barbecue.”

A small house on the forest edge, very cozy and fully equipped with everything needed for a pleasant stay. It’s close to the lakes, offering a peaceful, relaxing setting. Our host Katarzyna welcomed us warmly and was especially attentive to make our stay perfect. The garden barbecue was a real bonus for friendly evenings grilling sausages. It’s an ideal place to recharge, with everything in place to make you feel good.

“Ein Traum in den Masuren”

The extremely quiet setting in the woods with immediate proximity to the lake and the successful blend of connected houses between old and new, past and present, comfort and simplicity, luxury and down‑to‑earth. In the village Urowo there’s a good grocery shop within walking distance, or a car‑reachable one for those less fit. It’s an ideal starting point for nature trips or visits to historic towns nearby. The house also works well for remote work, and the Wi‑Fi is superb. The only drawback is that in Masuria nature is so pristine that you have to expect insects—mosquitoes, midges, ticks, ants, bumblebees, dragonflies, spiders, etc. Protect yourself against mosquitoes, midges, and ticks; the rest you just enjoy. It would have been great to have bicycles or a few swimming boards on site, but we didn’t need them.

Silence and peace, wonderful greenery, beautiful surroundings, many bike paths, but during rains you need to be ready for large puddles because it’s mainly deciduous forests, plus plenty of lovely lakes. Very good contact with the owner. Close to Iława, Ostróda, and Miłomłyn. Nearby is the beautiful Karnity Castle. You can get everywhere by bike. The description said there were 3 bathrooms, but there were 2 plus 1 toilet. Also the third bedroom was a windowless room with doors, which should have a different purpose. We were three pairs of friends, so we managed.

“Świetny pobyt w klimatycznym miejscu, idealne do pracy zdalnej i pobytu z psem.”

Great stay! Excellent contact with the owner, fast internet allowed me to work remotely. Evenings by the fireplace were extremely atmospheric, and the ability to cook scrambled eggs on the wooden stove added charm. The conditions were also great for a dog—it could run freely on the property. A successful trip, even with occasional rainy weather. Highly recommend!
