The houseboat is gorgeous and exactly as shown in the photos, but there’s no toilet, no shower, and no running water on board; you have to walk about 80 m through the garden to the main house for those basics, which is especially unpleasant at night. This wasn’t mentioned anywhere, and when I asked, I was told it was a special price for that reason, yet that claim was also nowhere listed and 160 €/night isn’t a bargain.

The spot is naturally dreamy; the water supply issues on board hardly matter because the exclusive bathroom is only 50 m away and is top‑class. The host is also extremely helpful.

The place is beautiful, but the comfort—especially due to the water problem that was shared beforehand—was quite limited.
