“Strict with towels; Scary elevator”

The room was nice, but the staff were very strict about towels and didn’t give us enough for everyone. The single elevator seemed unsafe.

“The worst hotel experience we have ever had!!!!”

Nothing good. The roof was infested with cockroaches; they crawled all over the bed and our stuff, making it impossible to sleep. When I tried to tell staff, no one was there. We will never stay here again.

“You pay for what you get.”

The hotel sits right in the middle of restaurants and shops, just about 20 minutes from LSU campus. The building feels dated and could use some updates: the AC rattles and makes a loud noise whenever it turns on, and the beds creak like a dump truck dropping a dumpster every time you shift. Towels and washcloths were rough, almost like loofahs, and the phones were old—there’s a red light that flashes as if a message is waiting, but when I asked the front desk they said it was just how it worked and there was no actual message. The rooms were overpriced at $208 a night, especially during the family weekend at LSU. The front desk staff were friendly, but housekeeping didn’t speak English and tried to ask us questions we couldn’t understand, then barged into our room even with the “Do Not Disturb” sign on the door handle. I’d rather stay elsewhere next time, but if you’re stuck, you’ll get what you pay for.

“Was clean and comfortable”

The location is great, but the building is noisy and there's a lot of smoking.
