“Für 1 Nacht reichts”
The bed was freshly made, and a fan was in the room, which was good because a tilted window was impossible due to street noise. The hotel is very basic. In my room there were two metal beds that squeaked with the slightest movement. The furnishings were worn, with broken parts or grime that couldn’t be cleaned. The kettle was full of limescale and leftover water. Towels were only available for a €5 deposit per towel. Screws on lamps were loose, and the shampoo holder wasn’t properly secured.
The location and price were good, but when we arrived the room wasn’t clean and we had to wait because the door wouldn’t lock. The next day a man smelling of alcohol knocked on our door asking if we wanted to change the TV; the bed was uncomfortable and the mattress folded into a V shape.
“Value for Money”
The room was cheap and close to the train station, and the shared bathroom was clean, but the hotel sits in a bad part of town and the bunk‑bed was uncomfortable for me because I'm very tall.
The front desk was crowded, and the room was dirty; the TV didn’t work and the bathroom was tiny—absolutely awful.
When I checked in, the staff were friendly and considerate, yet the room lacked a towel and had no soundproofing—I could hear conversations in the adjacent room.
