The family was accommodating and helpful, and the accommodation sits in a central spot that’s easy to reach most attractions and amenities, but the place could be cleaner—bedsheets seemed unchanged after guests left, children’s crying and loud talking made it noisy, rooms heated up at night and a fan didn’t help, and mosquitoes made it hard to relax.

Kiran and his family were great hosts; the room was simple, clean, and nice, I had a balcony with a fantastic river view, and a small restaurant next door also offers a good view and breakfast or dinner; the guesthouse is less than a five‑minute walk from the main Hampi bazaar and temple, where you can hear meditation chants and feel very calm, and it’s also close to other rooftop restaurants and a scooter hire—go stay with Kiran and family!
