The location and the staff were great.
“Terrible. Will not be back”
The location was fine, but the annex room was filthy with hairs and dirt on the bedding; I asked for a change and they swapped it for another set of dirty sheets. The bins next to the annex were overflowing and the staff didn’t care. I found another hotel nearby and checked out on the day I arrived, yet the staff offered no refund or apology.
“Well situated but small and expensive”
The location is excellent, but the room is very small—trying to open the bathroom door means you hit the bed.
“Respectable, just a tight squeeze.”
The place sits in a nice spot with decent facilities and is close to Amsterdam’s main streets, making it easy to get around. However, the building feels cramped and low‑quality, and everything seemed questionable in terms of cleanliness. There’s a strong smell each morning and the rooms barely have any space.
