Nestled in a restored 1850s warehouse on Vægtertorvet Square, Danhostel Frederikshavn City offers modern, private‑bathroom rooms with radios, free Wi‑Fi, and a communal TV lounge and kitchen. A 5‑minute walk brings guests to the ferry terminal, while the train station is 10 minutes away. Nearby, Bangsbo’s botanical gardens, deer enclosure, museum, and WWII exhibits await.

The location is right next to the ferry terminal, the place is clean and stylish, and there is the option for self‑catering. Breakfast is simple but good.

The hotel is centrally located. The beds are nice, and having a bathroom and toilet in the room is great. It’s convenient. The mattresses and pillows were a bit “nussede”, possibly something that can’t be removed, but they were somewhat nussede and stained.

I stayed in the center, but the beds weren't very good.

The location is just next to the train and ferry stations, the breakfast is good, and the common area with kitchen and lounge is nice; the dryer doesn’t work well and the place isn’t well insulated sound‑wise.
