The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the room was clean and simple. I loved the old‑school pub vibe and the live music or DJ nights. On the downside, there’s no TV, radio, fridge, lift or ramp, and it feels a bit pricey for what you get.

The single room was basic but decent, with air‑con and heating. I only got one towel for two nights, the toilet was a bit far, and the wooden fire‑escape stairs were a bit of a climb.

Staying here feels like a pub stay, but it’s one of the better shared‑bathroom pubs around. The bed was good, towels and soap were nice, and the area is quiet.
