“Qualita prezzo molto buona”

The room was tiny and very simple, but it had a private bathroom and a great spot between San Giovanni and Porta Metronia, well connected to the centre. The bed was quite comfortable, the wardrobe was ample for one person, there was a small desk with a drawer, and the bathroom was clean and well supplied. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would suggest fixing or removing the wooden blind outside the window because it lets in very little light. Also, given the price I paid, I would expect an internet connection for guests (although it was listed as unavailable on the booking site).

The double bed and TV were fine. The bathroom had a sewage smell after the first use, the toilet was oddly placed, and the shower drain was not working.

The staff were kind and sent my forgotten items by mail when I left them behind. The room had a few issues: there was not enough toilet paper and only body soap was provided.

We stayed in this room in January. The insulation in the bathroom and overall room was poor, so it froze and towels stayed damp. We had to hang them inside the room to avoid drying them with wet towels, making morning bathroom trips quite traumatic. The shower drain was completely clogged and we had to wait a long time for lukewarm water, so the shower tray filled to the brim and made the whole experience unpleasant. It was a self‑pay situation, but showering in a B&B with soggy feet isn’t very hygienic. The room was cold, but the air conditioning kept it comfortable. The TV remote had no batteries. The room had no windows, only a skylight, so on bad weather days you can’t change the air at all.

The place has air conditioning. The check‑in was utterly disorganized and irresponsible; no instructions were given even though we had notified a late arrival. The host didn’t answer the phone, there was no guidance on the portal, and they even claimed a late‑check‑in fee that was never mentioned anywhere. Getting into the room felt like a terror escape room. The room had no window, only a skylight with a blinds that don’t close properly—great for those who can’t sleep with light. The pillows were horribly uncomfortable, perfect for a post‑holiday physiotherapist. There were only two rolls of toilet paper for three people over four days, no comments. The cistern and running water were louder than a jet taking off. The walls were paper. Guests in the adjacent room seemed to enjoy their stay.
