“Great location for the Rugby and for Big Groups!”
We were a large rugby group and this was the perfect place to stay! The owners put us in the oldest house at the end of the property, away from everyone so we didn’t disturb anyone. We had our own parking, a pool, and were close to the spa, so we could get our nails done! It was a lovely stay. The only thing we didn’t like was the limited kitchen utensils, but we ate out most days, so it didn’t matter much.

I was thoroughly impressed by the warm and inviting atmosphere at this lovely lodge. It felt like a well-kept secret, where every detail was carefully considered to make guests feel at ease and welcome.
I drove through a heavy downpour and the GPS sent me straight into an open veld in Bertrams; realizing I was lost, I called Furaha for help but couldn't get the assistance I needed, so I had to book another place at my own cost. What hurt the most was not just the refusal to refund me, but the dismissive tone of the replies: they told me I should have been somewhere else instead of Johannesburg and even mentioned how many guests had stayed before me, which had nothing to do with my problem. I just wanted help as a guest who was genuinely lost in bad weather, and I felt unsupported. I won’t stay or recommend this place again. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

Unfortunately, my stay was marred by noise from other guests, who were having a late-night gathering and didn't seem to consider those around them. As a result, I didn't get any rest at all, which was really frustrating.
