The room had a charming Italian vibe with old paintings on the ceiling, and at first it felt close to the street, but the window shutters kept the noise down. Breakfast could be had at various cafés, though only one offered sandwiches. The host was very helpful, staying in touch via WhatsApp and giving us tips on sights and restaurants.

The B&B was well-equipped: free Wi‑Fi, a kettle in the room, a coffee machine in the common area, and the host was welcoming and attentive, giving local tips and answering questions; however, the acoustics were very good, so you could hear doors locking and the coffee machine running, and in our case we were woken before 6 am during quiet hours by our neighbour every morning we stayed.
