I stayed at a love hotel surrounded by other shady places, and there was a phone number for ‘massages’ right next to the bed.

The room was spacious, fully equipped, and spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. Checking in was smooth, even though the staff didn’t speak English. It sits in the heart of the area and the price is reasonable for what you get. However, getting to both downtown Seoul and the airport takes a very long time, so avoid booking here if you need to be closer to the airport. Also, the room had no windows, so we were disappointed by the lack of natural light.
