The location, cabin layout and cleanliness were great, and the private access plus good car parking were handy. The owners are new to the B+B business but seem eager to offer solid service. The mattress, however, is far too thin and needs a better replacement. Most B+B’s give a small milk carton and a selection of tea and coffee; this place is early days, so there’s room for improvement.

Getting in was a breeze, and being close to Mt Smart Stadium was very convenient.
