The place was pretty nice, we parked about 10 min outside and, as usual in England, it was pricey. The room was larger than other ones in South England, yet the ceiling was low. Standing at 1.90 m, I had to bend a lot and even in the bathroom had to watch where I hit the walls.

We appreciated the roomy layout with a separate lounge, bedroom and shower area, and the dinner restaurant recommendation was spot on. Breakfast wasn’t offered, so we had to find a café ourselves, but that was already mentioned ahead of time.

The position was excellent, the place was clean and comfortable, and it offered great value for money. Checking in was very easy.

The location was great, making it perfect for a one‑night stay. The room was clean and fresh, and checking in and out was super easy. I’d definitely stay again, but I’d probably choose the larger room below for more ceiling height. I’d also like slightly fuller pillows, though that’s just my taste.
