This place is a real gem if you're looking for some peace and quiet. The caretakers are super friendly and the meals they cook are amazing. It's a great spot to unwind and get away from it all.

We had an incredible time at this hill country retreat. It's tucked away in nature, surrounded by animals and a babbling stream that's just a short walk from the main property. The host Chamila and his team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and at home. They cooked up delicious Sri Lankan meals that were generous in portion and exceeded our expectations. Chamila was a font of knowledge about the area and was always happy to answer our questions.

This place is a gem, located just outside Ella with a team of staff who are super helpful and generous with the food - there's plenty of it, and it's all delicious. The breakfast is actually the best I've had in Sri Lanka. It's a great spot to unwind and relax, but still close enough to explore the waterfalls and tea plantations with the help of the local taxi driver, who's also your neighbor. He can arrange everything for you.

We learned the hard way that it's best to avoid petting them, especially at night, as they can get a bit feisty.
