“Notre moment de récupération du voyage”
The building is beautiful, the view is truly spectacular, and our room was spacious, clean with a bay view; everything smelled good, the reception staff were lovely and very friendly. I recommend it if you want a quiet town break and an “inn” that feels more like a hotel.
I was thrilled with the location and the excellent value at the Murray Library Hostel—the bus stop is right outside! The area and surroundings are highly sought after, so I was surprised by the great value. While staying there, I felt the warm welcome from the hosts, and the common room had plenty of games while the kitchen was clean, bright, and beautifully lit. I loved the friendly vibe so much. Host Darius is kind and accommodating, and that kindness extends to all guests—everyone feels comfortable and happy. You can socialize if you want or enjoy a quiet time reading; I would say it’s the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Great location, great value, very clean, and the perfect mix of social and comfortable. I had to stay elsewhere in town one night because they were all booked out, ha!
“Prima hostel”
The bed and room were spacious, and the view of the harbor was lovely. The shower and toilet were located in the hallway, which had been mentioned beforehand, but it still proved a bit of a hassle.
The view is amazing. The room is very basic but has exactly what you need: a comfy bed with extra covers, towels, a wash basin, an armchair, and binoculars to watch the sea :) The location is perfect for falling asleep to the waves below. As noted, the toilet and shower are private but accessed from the corridor, not directly from the room, yet they are very clean and convenient.
“Great value for money”
This hostel is a hidden gem along the Scottish shore; it was spotless, very cozy, and the boy Darius was always ready to help—I'll definitely return if I'm near this spot. The experience was amazing.
