The place was neat and clean, and it was easy to reach the Mall of Africa and the highways to Pretoria and Sandton, but there was no fridge or bottled water in the rooms.

The proximity to Waterfall Mall was convenient, but the staff were unprofessional, the hospitality was lacking, and the old bed was terrible.

The hotel has a nice fit, modern finishes, and a great location, and the receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. However, comfort was lacking: the pillows were poor, there was no water in the room (only empty carafes at reception for refills), only one plug point that wasn’t near the bed, and the breakfast was mediocre with no halal concession when I asked the chef, so I ended up eating at the mall even though breakfast was included. The couples room’s bathroom isn’t truly separate; the toilet is in the room with a thin sliding door, so the whole room smells when it’s used.
