I liked how easy it was to get there, but the washlet is a must for Japanese guests.

It’s just a five‑minute walk from Shin‑Sa, and although I first thought the lobby was only reachable by stairs, I found a gentle slope that let me roll my suitcase in without trouble. The room was small but there was a convenience store nearby, and despite the mixed reviews I was a bit nervous at first, three of us ended up having a very comfortable stay. The staff even made an effort to speak Japanese, which was a big help, so I’ll definitely come back. The shower was tricky to operate, and because we were in a three‑person room the bathroom was roomy but the toilet door was frosted glass, making it a little see‑through and a bit embarrassing. The door didn’t seal tightly, so I kept the TV on to mask any bathroom sounds. Even though some reviewers were harsh, the cheap price and location make it a good value.

The location is good and the view from the window is nice, and the bathroom is spacious with a bathtub. However, the overall condition of the room looked old and very dusty. The windows, curtains, bedside table, telephone, and notebook were covered in dust from lack of use. Items like shelves, walls, and doors had swollen wood, and the grout in the bathroom was yellowed and moldy.
The air conditioning was very weak, so I had to sleep without a blanket and even then it was too hot.
