The gentleman who owns and manages the property was very congenial. The building itself is old and, while fairly well kept, shows its age; it’s a good value for a one‑night sleep‑and‑go. The room was comfortable and quiet, but the decor felt uniquely gloomy. There were also security concerns with the room door, which had no peephole or deadbolt, even though the key‑card sleeve claimed a deadbolt was installed. No complimentary breakfast was offered, which was not advertised, so that was expected. The motel is very small, so a breakfast service would be hard to accommodate. Finally, the property sits beside a heavily trafficked four‑lane highway, so crossing the street can be a bit challenging depending on the time of day.
