I love this traditional Onsen Ryokan. The staff was super nice and the breakfast and dinner was super generous. We had to ask them to stop bringing food. There was not a lof of space for my luggages. and not a lot of drawer space for my clothes. But I didn't go out much and only needed 1 pair of clothes during my stay
“Lovely Location, But Room for Improvement”
The location is perfect for a quick escape, and the room is beautifully decorated and super comfy. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the half board meals are delicious and filling. However, the rooms are starting to show their age, and I was a bit grossed out by the old towels and used swimsuit I found in the rental onsen.
“A Hidden Gem”
This place is absolutely stunning. I'm struggling to put into words just how beautiful it is – it's truly one of a kind. The Ryokan itself is a work of art, with every detail meticulously thought out to create an unforgettable experience. The surroundings are equally breathtaking, making it a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of city life.
“Beautiful Setting, But Poor Service”
The hotel's onsen in the room and staff were amazing, and the bamboo forest is truly breathtaking. The massage was also top-notch, and the breakfast and dinner in a Japanese style were delicious. However, we were really disappointed by the lack of service at the train station, where we were supposed to be met but had to wait for over an hour. The hotel's location is also a bit isolated, with nothing nearby except for a forest. The price doesn't match the quality, and we wouldn't recommend it.
“Beautiful Hotel, But Some Issues”
The hotel's food is incredibly delicious and made with love, and the chef puts a lot of effort into presentation. The hotel's location is also amazing, far from the hustle and bustle and surrounded by a peaceful bamboo forest. However, our room's onsen flooded one night, and all the Japanese tatami mats were soaked. The staff tried to fix it by laying out dry towels, but it was a bit of a letdown.
