I booked the room and confirmed it over the phone, but when I called back just before arrival, they said the room was fully booked. After checking, they called back dozens of times, but the hotel didn’t answer the phone.

It looked abandoned; only one person seemed to be working there, and it didn’t feel like many people were around. The rooms were disgusting, with rat poo all over the floor and dead bugs in the bed, and I’m pretty sure the room hadn’t been used or cleaned in weeks. The place definitely has a rat problem, and the lone staff member showed me alternative rooms that had the same rat poo issue as the original. Don’t bother booking it, no matter how cheap; it should be removed from their listing.

The service was friendly, and the location was quite suitable for a short city tour. The room’s cleanliness was lacking: a pillow had mold, the floor and bathroom were dusty, the kettle and cup in the room were dusty, one cup was open as if it had been used, and the blanket in the closet had a smell.
