“It's definately 10 out of 10 for us!”
The cottage feels lovely, comfortable, warm and cosy. The proprietor was extremely welcoming and went out of her way to make sure everything suited us. Her local knowledge helped a lot when we asked for restaurant suggestions and for using the local bus to visit Stratford Upon Avon. The village is a 25 minute bus ride from the centre, and the bus is literally a door‑to‑door service to the centre. It was great to sit back and enjoy the scenery instead of driving, so I would say it’s a very convenient location if you want to see all the sights of Stratford while also enjoying the quieter ambiance of a quaint rural village on the river. The beds are dreamily comfortable, and the facilities are exactly what you would expect. Breakfast was perfect, with a “help yourself to” selection of fresh fruit salad, yoghurt, cereals, and orange juice, plus a wide range of hot breakfast favourites that were beautifully cooked to order. It’s definitely 10 out of 10 for us! Absolutely nothing to dislike!
