“Easy to miss, but worth the stay!”
Very clean and well kept. Close to town, only about a five minute drive. The river right off the deck was gorgeous in the morning! Not much to dislike.

The river view was nice and the price was good for the area, especially since it’s close to Leavenworth. However, the place felt more like a roadside inn than a lodge, and being right next to the highway made it noisy. The rooms looked dated and worn out, so while a one‑night stay was okay, there are better options nearby.

The staff were friendly and even woke us up to cushions on our chairs outside. They allowed us to BBQ with my tiny gas grill, and the owners were very welcoming. A cute kitty was there, and they called to check if our room needed cleaning, which it didn’t, but they did ask us to dispose of garbage under our table; when we returned it was gone. I would definitely come back, though the building could use some love and a facelift.

Free donuts were a pleasant surprise—no one expected food to be included. The setting was beautiful and, although old, it still had charm. One night we had loud, rude neighbors, but that was unrelated to the hotel; otherwise, it was wonderful. A quiet‑time policy could have helped.

The river location was great, but the $25 shuttle to downtown felt expensive. A round‑trip discount for hotel guests would be appreciated.
