The reception staff were absolutely brilliant, very friendly and always happy to help. The shower was a bit hit or miss; it worked for a minute then shut off the next, and the temperature was hard to control.

The location was really good, the bed was comfy, and the bar was nice—there were loads of eating places on the street. The landing and the area near the bedrooms smelled damp and the carpet needs ripping out. Our room faced a small alleyway, offered no view, and was quite dark—the window should be at least double the size, and there was no fridge in the room!

The hotel’s location was ideal for our stay—just a 20‑minute walk to the centre. The bed was comfortable and clean, and the shower worked well. Our room faced a wall with an apartment above; we didn’t spend much time inside, so we drew the curtain, and the alley below had some noise from the restaurant staff below, but that didn’t stop us from sleeping.

The place was truly fantastic, romantic, and overall very elegant, with a staff that was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was good, and I appreciated the shower and the bed. The room was spacious and I felt the value for money was excellent. On the downside, the toilet flush was “broken” – not completely, but it was hard to operate – and the huge photo of Gal Gadot in the hallway made me feel uncomfortable.
