The bed was comfy and the room was acceptable. We waited half an hour to check in because no one came to greet us, and when a staff member finally arrived she didn’t speak English and wouldn’t use my phone to translate, leaving us stuck. Another person eventually appeared and wrote a note with the room number. Inside, the room smelled of stale cigarettes and the AC was extremely loud. The property didn’t list smoking rooms, so arriving as a non‑smoker was unpleasant. A bathtub crack could have caused injury. The worst part was that we were locked in and couldn’t leave until the next morning’s checkout; I understand it might be for privacy, but I couldn’t sleep all night worrying about not being able to exit if needed. We also found a used condom on the headboard (pictured).

The place was clean.

The room and bath were spacious; unlike a typical business hotel, it felt relaxed. The lack of natural light (being a love hotel, it’s understandable).

I liked how calm the hotel felt, but I couldn’t watch Netflix even though I wanted to.
