The owner welcomed us warmly and the service was thorough. The price was very reasonable. Chiang Mai was generally comfortable; at night the lack of air conditioning wasn’t too hot, though that can vary by person.

The room was spotless, and the bedsheets and towel looked brand‑new. The hot water shower worked fine. The Panasonic fridge was quiet, but the cable connection had burn marks. Some noise from outside—school—could be heard, but that’s normal.
