“Exceptional”
The place was amazing—wish we had more time. Marc and Andrea were great hosts, the house is gorgeous and breakfast topped everything else. We loved it and will definitely tell friends. Also thanks for the tip about the little shop; I’m thrilled with my purchase.

We were greeted warmly by two smart, artistic hosts who love Brazil and have already welcomed over 3,000 guests. The separate level feels private, bright and airy with a view of Christ the Redeemer and green parrots flying by. The surroundings are calm and safe, and the recent renovation keeps up with modern trends. Marc’s homemade jam and fresh bread were tasty, and Andrea—who’s a doctor—offered great chats and advice.

We had a fantastic time with Marc and Andrea. The place is gorgeous, with a killer view of Rio, Sugarloaf and Christ the Redeemer. They even baked me gluten‑free bread from scratch for my diet, and Andrea made sandwiches for us when we had to leave early. The garden buzzed with hummingbirds and marmosets—perfect for nature fans. No complaints, would recommend to anyone heading to Rio.

Breakfast was fantastic: fresh bread, fruit, and a freshly baked cake—perfect to start the day. The view from the big terrace is amazing, and the decor is colorful and artistic. The vibe is cozy, with light music and a real sense of welcome.
