Overall, it’s a good deal, but if you’re not driving, it’s not recommended because mobility options around Rovigliano are scarce; the only convenient choice is a shared bike service, Vaimoo, just 5 min away. The supermarket is not close, but still reachable on foot in about 15 min. The Wi‑Fi is useless, making it impossible to check online or plan anything, and the roaming partner also had very poor coverage in the area. I would rate the whole experience at the lowest value because of this, but that would be unfair.

The accommodation was clean, organized and comfortable, and breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Antonio was extremely friendly, flexible and helpful; I asked him for transfers several times and he always obliged gladly. On the day of my departure, a fire on the nearby railway line halted train traffic, but Antonio immediately offered his help and took me to another station where trains were running, so I could continue my journey without trouble. The main entrance of Pompeii Porta Marina is about a 20–30 min walk from the lodging, where there is also a train station, so Sorrento is easily reachable, and the buses to Vesuvius also start from there. It is worth arriving by car because the lodging is farther from the center, making the main sights about 20–30 min on foot. The area’s infrastructure is mainly geared toward car travel, so walking is less convenient.

Great value for money, comfortable internal parking, and the owner is very helpful and polite. It would be nice to have a small fridge in the room.
