The room was lovely, spacious, clean and comfy, and the location was ideal for exploring Palermo, so I’d recommend it. The downside is the many steps that make carrying bags a hassle, and there’s no one to help if you need assistance.

When I arrived, the room was neat and clean, featuring a beautiful fresco ceiling and plenty of space; the shower had excellent water pressure. Housekeepers were wonderful and pleasant, and the manager was extremely nice and helpful. The only issue was that it was hard to find the location at first, but once there it was great.

The location was perfect, close to the sights and only a 10‑minute walk to the train station. The room was comfortable and charming with good bedding, and the bathroom was well designed with a surprisingly large shower for Italy. Breakfast was excellent at a nearby pasticceria, and the host was very welcoming and helpful. The only complaint was that it was very hot, and it would have been nice to be able to put water in the fridge.
