Gorgeous location (Mountain View’s are dependent on weather- we had the morning view but clouds settled in by the time we returned later in the day) just a couple minutes drive from the main township. Room was lovely and clean. Our car spot is meant to fit 2 cars, but realistically only fits 1 mid size SUV (thankfully our cabin neighbours parked to where neither of us were inconvenienced) Door handle to the sliding bathroom door has been jammed into the wall cavity and was bent (doesn’t impact door’s use but I did have to manhandle the door out of its cavity)

It was a typical resort - not my first option at all when travelling. Adequate, but with adjoining rooms where one doesn't feel private. Rooms were fine, but just absolutely minimum in the way of tea/coffee etc. can't really complain about lack of privacy because there is no in a resort of this kind

The chalet had everything we needed, it was spacious with wonderful mountain views. A quiet location but easy access via car to Franz Josef and convenient car parking. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and a return visit
