I liked how the room was decorated, and it offered a nice view of the tomb mounds and the art museum next door; the location was good, a bit far from many sites but I enjoy walking, so that was fine. The only complaint was that the big spa bath looked nice, but it would have been better with a chair like the one used before an onsen shower.

The location was great and the design was also nice – the art museum is directly opposite. The traditional beds were rather hard, so for a longer stay we thought they were less suitable (two nights were fine).

I loved the whole concept of the property, the fantastic view over the Tomb mounds and parkland, and the keyless entry. The only issue was that we knew we’d be sleeping on a mattress on the floor with beautiful linen and setting, but I think a chair in the room would have been a good addition if our stay had been longer.
