The staff were friendly and attentive, and the food looked lovely even though we didn’t get a chance to try it. The location is noisy, with sounds continuing until 4 am every morning.
The pool, the room, and the location were all excellent. During breakfast, some people (not everyone) didn’t serve me coffee before 7 am.
“Don't stay unless you want to be on the strip”
The rooftop pool was a highlight, though it was crowded during the day. When we got to our room, the lights and TV were broken, so we called maintenance; they fixed the lights but the TV still wouldn’t let us sign into YouTube or Netflix, and there were no other rooms to switch to. On my partner’s request, they sent a bottle of Prosecco to the room. The hotel sits right at the entrance to Paceville, Malta’s main strip, and the night noise was so intense that I couldn’t sleep without earphones from room 1514 on the fifth floor. We didn’t check the location carefully, but everything we wanted to do—Valletta, the three‑city tour, Cafe del Mar, and boat hire—was far away, so we spent a lot of time on taxis and buses to escape the strip. The hotel also hosts rooftop parties during the week, which are equally noisy. We booked a balcony room with a “city view,” but it actually faced an alley and the backs of buildings. The balcony furniture was oddly large, making it hard for two people to sit comfortably. We tried to use the spa around 9 am, but the sauna and steam room were not hot; it seemed they had just been turned on, so it was pointless. The staff were there all night, so they could have pre‑heated it before guests arrived. The in‑room spa bath helped mask some outside noise, but the drain plug wouldn’t work no matter what we tried.
“Don’t stay if you value your sleep and don’t want an infection from the jacuzzi.”
The place is well‑located, but the noise was unbearable, the jacuzzi water was dirty, and rooms facing the interior are a real tragedy.
“Ogólnie bardzo udany pobyt.”
The breakfasts were fantastic and the rooms looked very nice, plus the rooftop pool was pleasant; however, despite the thick windows, street noise was still clearly audible, and the check‑in time of 16:00 was unreasonably late—despite repeated inquiries we weren’t allowed to check in earlier, even though rooms had already been cleaned, and the staff said they don’t communicate via WhatsApp, yet after a while they sent a welcome message on that platform.
