We enjoyed the informative posters, the open clean kitchen, the pile of books, the binoculars for spotting local birds at the feeder, the great location, and James who helped us with everything, even our laundry. What we didn’t like was having to leave after only one night; we’d love to stay again. Thanks, James.

The spot was gorgeous and practically right next to everything, and the staff were incredibly sweet and helpful.

It was close to the town centre, but the shower area felt a bit cramped and there was no way to turn on a light just for the shower.

The place was very clean and had everything we needed in the kitchen, the beds were comfy, and we enjoyed the outdoor area watching the garden birds at the feeding station; the host was very friendly. The location was quiet yet still close to the castle and the town’s cafes and shops. I wish there had been an extra chair in the bedroom – the room was meant for four people, but we were just two, and one chair felt a bit uncomfortable.
