The place was well‑located, just steps from the Tower in the city center, with secure access, ample space, air‑conditioning, and a coffee machine on site. On the downside, the shower’s flow and temperature were erratic—cold, then scalding, then cold again—and the drainage was sluggish. Wi‑Fi was non‑existent, the AC made noise, and the bed was not very comfortable.

The room was spacious and welcoming, spotless, and the bathroom was fully equipped—including toothbrushes with toothpaste and intimate soap. The spot was convenient and central, in a safe area even though we were just a mother and daughter. The room stayed quiet. Getting in touch with Alessandro was straightforward, with quick and thorough replies and clear directions, and the self‑check‑in worked smoothly. The only downside was the shower curtain, which I didn’t find particularly appealing or easy to keep clean. Otherwise, the cleanliness was flawless.

The spot was fine. Unfortunately, the flat was not clean; the shower was clearly old, the tray was nearly impossible to scrub, the curtains were yellowed, and some parts were rusty. We were given only one roll of toilet paper for the whole stay, which we finished, leaving us to decide what to do next. The host only spoke Italian, even though English should have been an option, and when I misplaced the keys, I was scolded though he couldn’t reply in English. The AC was right above the bed, so we avoided using it to keep the cold air from blowing on us, making nights very hot and uncomfortable.
