The location is near the airport, and there is a free shuttle in the morning at 4:30. During check‑in, the desk staff handled passports poorly, bending and crumpling them. After I pointed it out, they apologized. In any case, more care is needed with passports.
“わるくない”
The response to the flight cancellation was great; they handled everything in detail over WeChat. I just wish the staff understood a bit more English.
“Convenient and comfy”
The staff were very helpful, even letting me check out late for a night flight. The beds were comfortable and the airport shuttle is very convenient, but the breakfast was simple but adequate.
The chain hotel near Shuanglu Airport was good, and they offered a free airport shuttle when I booked, which I gladly used. The rooms were comfortable and very modern, with automatically opening curtains, a heated toilet, and overall high‑tech touches. The staff easily accommodated my request for a late checkout at 14:00 instead of 12:00, which I really appreciated. I’d recommend it for a stay. However, the breakfasts were surprisingly meagre for such a fancy hotel. The selection was very limited and didn’t compare to other hotels of the same brand in Beijing. On weekends the buffet ended at 10:30 am; I arrived around 9:45 and half the dishes were already gone, with no one refilling the spread. As the saying goes, “who arrives first eats first,” and I barely managed to get enough food to feel satisfied. Because of that, I’m lowering my rating.
