“try to avoid it at all costs”
There’s nothing about this place worth liking. The location feels unsafe, with many homeless people, drug dealers, and an isolated surrounding area. The room had a strong unpleasant smell and was infested with bedbugs and other insects, so I was bitten extensively, leaving my body covered in scars. At night, there was a violent fight in the room next to mine, and later a woman ran down the corridor, which was very frightening. The shower didn’t work at all, nor did the TV. The walls were covered with mold and were in poor condition, with peeling paint and a lack of maintenance. The staff were polite and friendly, which I appreciated, but their kindness couldn’t compensate for the overall condition of the property. In my opinion, this place is not worth the money, and I would not recommend staying here.
The TV was missing, there were no dressers, the bed was too low and uncomfortable, and we spotted a few roaches. We only stayed because refunds weren’t available.
“Don’t expect to keep the room you asked for. They may kick you into multiple separate rooms if you have an extended stay”
Some rooms lacked working A/C, others had showers that didn’t run. Repairs were happening during the day, which was fine, but waking guests up early to move them to rooms with non‑functional bathrooms for the rest of their stay was questionable. Just a thought.
“I fell and she did not write it up and place so rundown”
Everything.
“They didn’t let me stay”
I found nothing I liked about Economy Hotel. When I arrived, they claimed the room was full and that there was no booking for me, telling me to call them for a refund and that I had no reservation. I had to search for another hotel for two hours, dealing with rude security and a front desk staff who was on her phone, didn’t ask for my name or ID, and the place felt shady—like a hotel for local junkies.
