The location is amazing with a fantastic view of a well‑maintained outdoor area, and the bedding and towels are top quality for a comfortable bed. Judi welcomed us warmly and delivered a great breakfast to the suite. We didn’t find anything we didn’t like.

My first regret was arriving exhausted, so I missed the chance to take photos of the totally Instagram‑worthy scene. The huge, comfortable bed overlooking a lovely garden felt like a peaceful sanctuary. The feral cats on site made my day; they’re well cared for by Rescued/Cats Protection and a joy to watch. A fridge, small freezer, and microwave are available, and the store is very close – perfect for when I needed to work and couldn’t go out for sightseeing or local dining. The shower requires turning the handle until the right temperature is reached; the plugs by the bed aren’t obvious at first. The Wi‑Fi is reliable – I spent the first day doing Zoom training and it was very robust. Breakfast offers a choice of times and content, all lovely. Nothing I didn’t like.

The ambience was great, and I liked everything.

The room and ensuite were clean and well equipped, and breakfast was very good. The view over the gardens was excellent. The lady owner was very polite and extremely helpful without being intrusive, and the parking was excellent. Nothing really was missing.
