The meals—both dinner and breakfast—were outstanding, and the owner’s warm welcome made the place feel genuinely cheerful. He’s an artist, and the quirky décor reflects that. The only downside was that the shower’s water pressure was a bit too intense. 4

This place was a bit rough around the edges, but it had a certain charm to it. The accommodation was clean and quirky, and the host was super welcoming and interesting to talk to. He even went out of his way to make us supper, which was a lovely touch, even though we hadn't booked meals.

The host at this place was particularly friendly and accommodating, which made a big difference to our stay. I also loved that the dogs could roam freely around the property, which was a nice change from some of the other places we've stayed.
