Shiner Country Inn

“Would never stay there again. Wish I had not picked this place to stay.”

Not much to say. The room looked clean at first glance, but once you entered the bathroom the toilet paper holder was covered in rust. A closer look revealed a rusty window and a dusty bedroom with surfaces that hadn’t been wiped. We spent as little time there as possible. To top it off, one of our expensive pillows was left behind by accident and we never received a call or notice that the pillow had been found in the room.

“Hidden-Gem MotorCourt in Shiner”

I found the hotel in a great spot on 5th, making it a breeze to hop around town. I could stroll back and forth to Howard's, a convenience store that also serves beer on tap and has a gas station. I even rode over to the spoetzel brewery, and every room comes with its own covered parking. The downside was that the asphalt in the carport was so soft that my motorcycle tipped over and got scratched when the kickstand hit the surface.
