“Lovely location and rooms. Lack of real bar and restaurant you would expect”

The rooms are great, the view is nice, the pool is good and there’s easy access to local restaurants. There is no food or snacks or evening meal available, and the poolside amenities are uncomfortable (no mattress on furniture and no sunshades).

“Gorgeous pool and relaxed vibe”

The location is excellent and the pool is perfect – the ocean view at sunset and the water temperature are both gorgeous. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the vibe is relaxed and peaceful; the beds and pillows are comfortable. The rooms are very basic but still comfortable.

The staff were constantly wearing smiles, and I really enjoyed the Taiwanese dishes served at breakfast. However, I kept spotting unsafe areas, the wooden walkway was worn out, and the wooden door that houses the fridge had splinters that actually pricked me.

“Even though the resort was older and needed maintenance and repair, it was exceptionally clean.”

At first, the breakfast was very basic because we were almost the only guests, but once other visitors arrived and the buffet started, it became excellent. The staff were all exceptional and really made a positive impact on our stay. The rooms were lovely, spotless, with comfortable beds and great pillows. We loved the pool, which offered the best view and sunsets, and we also fed the fish in the saltwater pond outside our room. The building’s exterior was in poor condition, and the balcony outside our room was concerning with a lot of water and wood rot; it didn’t feel safe to go out onto the balcony.
