Breakfast was just right for an early morning before catching the shuttle to Halifax airport, and the driver went out of his way to load our baggage and wheelchair on and off the bus. There was no restaurant on site for evening meals, so we walked to the nearby Hilton Hotel, where the menu was great.

The location is good, but housekeeping was poor – the floors were very dirty and the room cleaning lacked quality control.

The room and bed were very comfortable, everything was spotless, and the breakfast offered both hot and cold dishes that were delicious. The staff always greeted us in the halls, and the front‑desk team went above and beyond to accommodate a request we had. The shuttle to the airport ran precisely on time and the drivers were very helpful. The hotel was very quiet, with no traffic or airplane noise at all. There was no restaurant in the hotel for dinner, but the hotel next door had a great one that we could just walk to. The price seemed high for one night, but we bit the bullet to be near the airport.
