We adored everything at Senalala: the lodge sits over a waterhole where animals came to drink right in front of us—an amazing sight. The food was excellent, the room was very comfortable, and the surrounding bush was stunning. Every staff member was friendly and polite, and our guide James went above and beyond to ensure we saw the Big Five in just two days—persistent, patient, and always clear in his explanations. Highly recommended.

We spent our first safari at Senalala and it turned out to be one of the most memorable moments of our lives. From the instant we arrived, the staff made us feel truly welcomed, and the rooms were beautiful and comfortable. Every meal was a treat, crafted with great attention to detail. The team stood out – always attentive, patient, and ready to help, and everything seemed to run smoothly. We saw the Big Five, plus hippos, crocodiles, and hyenas, but honestly it was the people that made the experience unforgettable. The only sad part is that moments like these end, yet Senalala gave us memories we’ll carry forever. We’re already dreaming of a return and strongly recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic, thrilling safari.

I just came back from a fantastic 5* stay at Senalala Lodge and I can’t recommend it enough. It was the highlight of a lovely four‑week holiday to Africa and South Africa, and I can’t think of anything that could have made it better. The staff went above and beyond to welcome us, and from chatting with other guests it seems people keep coming back, which is a good sign in itself. I’d love to return, and my family would too.

I had an amazing experience at Senalala lodge, where the staff's warm hospitality and exceptional guides made our stay truly unforgettable. Our guides, being locals, had an impressive wealth of knowledge about the Kruger park, its wildlife, and flora, which they generously shared with us. The food and drinks were delicious, and the cottages were comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable.

My stay at Senalala Lodge was absolutely fantastic, thanks to the team's friendly and welcoming nature, which made us feel right at home. Our guide, James, was particularly exceptional, going above and beyond during our game drives, sharing his vast knowledge, and making sure we had a great time. Although the food was amazing with plenty of variety, I did notice that the pool had a lot of dead bugs in it, which was a bit of a letdown.
