“Trotz des angenehmen Aufenthaltes waren die Zusatzkosten ein unangenehmer Beigeschmack.”
Very quiet location, very modern accommodation, always friendly host, good tips for day trips, great spot for visits to places like the Vosges, Strasbourg, Colmar, and the bicycles we brought could be stored in the host’s garage when not used. We booked our stay with inclusive breakfast. At the property the host informed us that the included breakfast was only minimal (coffee/tea, one pastry per person, some butter and assorted jams, juice & fruit). All other items were extra‑payable, e.g. cheese, sausage and eggs. We chose to add a daily “cheese platter” for 2 people. This platter included 3 small pieces of various cheeses per person. For this add‑on we paid 84 € for 7 breakfasts in total. The amount was paid in cash and no receipt was provided. The offered pool usage would also have been extra‑payable, so we declined. The bed in our room was only 1.40 m wide.
“Uniek verblijf in de Elzas”
Antoine is truly a super nice host. He prepares a tasty breakfast and is always up for a chat. The room is huge and the adjoining bathroom with a gigantic bathtub is luxurious. The house’s architecture is special; it’s clearly been thoughtfully designed, creating a unique experience. It’s also well‑located for trips to the Black Forest, Europa Park, and the Alsace. The cat greets you at the parking lot when you return and loves to curl up. We didn’t realize beforehand that we were staying in the owners’ house. That wasn’t a problem afterward, but it did surprise us at first. We mention this only as a courtesy for future guests. You have to pay extra for many things at breakfast. We don’t mind the idea of a supplement, but it’s quite high. The mattress on the right side was sagging and had a dent that the left mattress didn’t have.
“Fantastisch, wij komen zeker nog eens terug!”
The hosts were friendly, always ready for a chat and to answer our questions. Breakfast was very successful, and the pool was a huge asset in this heat. A perfect, quiet base for Europa Park and Rulantica.
“Heerlijk ontspannen op een prachtlocatie in een rustig dorp”
The room is more than beautiful and fully modern, with a fridge/minibar and a very spacious bathroom. A small seating area in the garden overlooks a nice pool. The hosts are very attentive and friendly, always ready to help and provide a complete breakfast tailored to your wishes. A private parking space is available.
“Zeer goed verblijf Dichtbij europapark”
The place was very pleasant and quiet. The food could have been better if there were more options nearby, but the owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here; we’ll return.
